Grapes    100% Tannat

Description by winemaker

Dark fruit bouquet with blackcurrant and plum notes. A fruity and generous wine in palate, very elegant.

Our Notes

Tanatis is a unique wine which is "innovated" by the wine maker Didier Barré. He uses the local grape of Madiran, Tannat, and vinify it like a "Port" wine, making this wine not only sweet but also very fruity with excellent body without tannins. Exceptional.

Food pairing

A real surprise to drink with chocolate based dessert, but also worth to try with foie gras on fruit coulis and with cheese.
